SANY e435 brings battery-electric 8x4 capability to concrete and construction applications
21-Aug-2026
SANY presents the e435 at IAA Transportation 2026 a battery-electric 8x4 chassis purpose-built for truck mixer and various tipper applications
- 8x4 full-electric chassis with 37 tons technical GVW and N3G classification
- 350 kilowatt-hour LFP battery, CCS Combo 2 charging up to 250 kilowatts and 600-volt electric architecture
- Permanent magnet synchronous motor delivers 270 kilowatts rated power and 405 kilowatts peak power through a four-gear automatic gearbox
The e435 combines a 37 tons technical gross vehicle weight, PTO interfaces for hydraulic body applications and improved driver-comfort features that keep drivers productive through demanding daily duty cycles.
Built for electric truck mixer operations
The e435 is on display as an eMixer with a Putzmeister 9m³ concrete mixer drum which has proven itself in Europe since 2022, running in 15 countries today. Its battery capacity is engineered to cover a full working day of truck mixer duty, giving operators the range and reliability they need without interrupting the pouring schedule.
The SANY e435 is an 8x4 battery-electric chassis with a curb weight of 11.8 tons and a front axle group technical rating of 16 tons and a rear axle group technical rating of 23 tons.
Kevin M. Eichele, Head of Product and Business Development of SANY eTrucks in Europe, said: "SANY can offer more than a truck that is electric in principle. The eChassis is built to consider payload priorities, charging windows and driver requirements — and that is exactly what the e435 delivers."
A battery-electric drivetrain engineered for heavy-duty work
The e435 draws power from an LFP traction battery with 350 kilowatt-hours of capacity, replenished through CCS Combo 2 charging at up to 250 kilowatts. Its permanent magnet synchronous motor delivers 270 kilowatts of rated power at 1,800 rpm and 1,256 Nm of torque, with peak output reaching 405 kilowatts at 3,000 rpm and 2,386 Nm.
A four-gear automatic gearbox and four recuperation levels keep the e435 running efficiently across every duty profile. For body integration, the platform offers an mPTO delivering 85 kilowatts peak and 45 kilowatts rated power, and a gPTO rated at 110 kilowatts peak power.
A cabin and safety package built for daily operation
Inside, the e435 offers a medium-roof cabin with LED headlights and running lights, a flat floor, digital driver and entertainment displays, an air-suspended driver seat, a heated steering wheel, driver-seat heating and cooling, an integrated refrigerator, automatic air conditioning, DAB+ radio.
Standard driver-assistance systems include EBS, ESC, ISA, PCW, reverse detection, TPMS, DDAW, MOIS, LDWS, BSIS, cruise control, a 360-degree camera system and front park radar sensors, with AEBS.
